A message to our members and the public.

Expanding Tuesday Opening Hours From 8 December 2020

Valentine Bowling Club is happy announce we are expanding our trading hours on Tuesday.

The Club will now be open from 11am on Tuesdays, and Jessie’s Bistro will be serving lunch on Tuesdays from 12-2pm.

Valentine Bowling Club has always relied on the support and patronage of our members and our local community. The COVID-19 crisis means we need this support more than ever if we are going to come out of this unprecedented times.

There are many ways you can support your Club in a COVID-Safe way:

  • Become a member. Drop down into the Club during our opening hours and speak to our staff.
  • Be a part of our weekly free Trivia Thursdays and bring a team down.
  • Join us for our Sunday Night Meat Raffle, or one of our other Meat Raffles – we have Christmas hams at every raffle until Christmas.
  • Book a table at Jessie’s Bistro (call 4946 7232 to book in). Let us do the cooking and call ahead for a takeaway meal – we can serve our whole menu takeaway!
  • Buy a voucher for Jessie’s Bistro so you’re ready for your next special occasion, raffle, or prize giveaway – see our staff.

At Valentine Bowling Club we’ve always been enthusiastic supporters of the local community. The COVID-19 crisis has meant we’ve had to make some difficult choices in the last few months, and without the ongoing, safe, patronage of our members and locals we might not be able to continue supporting all of the programs we do, both in the Club and in the broader community.

We need your support to get through this. Together we can keep our community strong and safe.

We are looking forward to getting to the other side of this crisis, and continuing to make Valentine a wonderful place to live.

Thank you for your support,

Valentine Bowling Club Staff and the Board of Directors

There will be some changes to the way we operate. Some of these changes are:

Open to the General Public

We are strongly encouraging all guests to join the Club and support their local venue.

Takeaway Food and Liquor is Available for the General Public

Looking for takeaway? You can place orders for food and take away liquor over the phone and collect meals from the Club's front door.

Stay at Home if You are Not Well.

We may refuse entry to anyone who presents to the Club with cold and flu symptoms. Please stay home if you're not well.

You may have your temperature checked as you arrive at the Club and may be refused entry if you return an above-normal temperature.
Members and guests will need to sign-in and sign-out of the Club. This is to ensure we can assist Health Authorities with any contact tracing the Club is involved in.
We are back on track with our weekly promotions, including ATP Poker, Meat Raffles, Trivia and Twilight Bowls.
Staff will be enforcing the regulated social distancing measures and will be regularly undertaking additional sanitising and cleaning to make sure the Club remains a safe place.
We are prioritising Booked tables for Jessie’s Bistro and may fill-up at peak times. We recommend you book early to secure you spot.
The Club is only able to have a limited number of patrons at any one time, and as a result there may be a wait to get in at peak times.
We have been reintroducing different facilities for the TAB, Keno and Gaming Machines as the restrictions easing.
Contactless payment is preferred but we will still accept cash for all services.
We ask patrons to remain seated while at the Club.
We ask that all patrons follow the directions of staff, especially the COVID19 Marshall on duty who will direct all of the Club’s new policies.
Please advise staff if you have recently visited a COVID-19 hot-spot within the past 14 days. We reserve the right to refuse entry if you are showing any symptoms.
